Pre-New Year pictures!

Here you go some New Year picture's with the kids and me. I don't like having my picture taken too much. But I do love to take pictures. I will put some in here of the kids tomorrow, for our first pictures in the New Year.

Chase, Ms. Kitty, and Destiny

So cute. Usually Ms. Kitty doesn't want him that close, so she would hiss at him. But she must have been too tired to bother with it.

Eagle Valley

Those are some pretty big snowflakes falling at Eagle Valley. They are at 5800 feet elevation. This is a picture David took yesterday when he was working. Looks pretty, like a winter wonderland.

In the top 3 pictures you can barely see 4 little gray blurps above the swing set. Those are Destiny, and Michael and 2 of there friends on what they call "cheesy mountain" they are going to sled down it. These pictures where taken at 330pm, look at the difference 30 minutes makes in the pictures below to these.

This bottom picture is pretty much straight out our front door. The road was black just a few minutes before. We were under a winter storm watch until 4pm, but at 3pm it started to snow. Pretty good too. The ground became white pretty quick, and the grass disappeared. In the second picture there is a mountain behind that little building, but you wouldn't know it because you can't see it.

UNLV Rebels Versus Utah Ute's

Well folks Destiny and I are going to a football game for these 2 colleges in Las Vegas on Saturday. This is for the band students in Lincoln County who participated in the Labor Day Parade in Pioche, Nevada. The band teacher is taking these kids to see the college band play. We are supposed to be sitting by the goal near the band. We are gonna leave on Saturday at 2p.m. and the game starts at 7p.m. and we are supposed to be home around 2/2:30a.m. Yes that does say A.M. Oh my goodness we are going to be so very tired. I am gonna be so sleepy. I am probably not gonna sleep on the school bus either way. We are gonna eat dinner somewhere down there before the game. I will try to take some pictures to post. The last time I went to a major football game was when cousin Kendall was playing. I can't remember who he played for, but I remember being there and sitting on the grass, and all the people. It was fun then, I was just a little kid. So we will see how this goes.

I will have to post this years pictures of the kids. Michael's football pictures when we get them back. Of course first they have to get taken, and that would be tomorrow. He looks so cute. I will have to get some of the pictures off my camera and post them.

Labor Day Parade photos.

Yes I know Labor Day has well since past, but I had to post some photos from the parade because tomorrow we have the Lincoln County High School 100 year celebration start. There is a parade tomorrow before all the games start. Destiny is in the pep band so they will be playing during the "big" game. I am sure that I will be taking more photos from this parade, because these are supposed to be entries from the past Alumni. Yes there is a semi in the parade running triples in the photos below. Most of the entries were of old cars, but they were so nice.
