Michael lounging around.

Talk about stressful!!

I am not one to post much more then a picture and a short blurt about it, but here it goes. Well lets see since yesterday morning about 8 a.m. I have been having an incredible time. David left for work, and on Monday's that means going into Pioche (a town 11 miles north of us) and getting the milk and ice cream order for work, and then heading out to Eagle Valley Resort in Ursine (another town about 19 miles east of Pioche).

Well I guess the milk guy was standing up on the top step of his truck leaning into the cab and talking to David, but David couldn't hear him. So David stepped up on the lower step to hear what he was saying. Well when he stepped back down he stepped on a piece of gravel possibly in a dip in the ground,with his right leg. The parking lot there isn't paved completely. He was trying to be careful because of his ankle, he has broken it before. I think because he was trying to be careful for that he forgot about the rest of him. Anyway I was on my way to work out there too, I had only made it to the intersection to either make a right and go out to Eagle Valley to work, or make a left and go into Pioche where David was. He called me about that time and asked me to come into Pioche to Tillie's where he was at, he also told me that his brother Stephen had just called him. Oops!, we had forgotten to give this guy who rented a U-Haul and a auto transport on Sunday his appliance dolly and 12 blankets.

Anyway when I got to David he was in his truck and told me to pull up and to park. Then he got out and walked around his truck to me in the van. An well he was having a LOT of trouble walking, he couldn't stand on his right leg very much at all. So we parked both vehicles at the court house and I drove him home to Panaca. I then called his dad and mom and asked if they could give me a ride back up to Pioche to get Dave's truck and get to work with the milk and ice cream that was in the truck. Luckily it was still pretty frozen, considering it had sat there for about at least half an hour 15 minutes from Pioche to Panaca, then from Panaca back to Pioche.

Well I got off work early because they were worried about him too, and wanted me to get him to the doctor. So I made an appointment for him and got him there. They had to do an xray, and something is wrong with his meniscus. We have to go back on Thursday and they may have to do an MRI. Wonderful!! Hope it isn't too bad. Right now he has a brace from hip to ankle.

Well the reason I am telling you all this is because we are supposed to go to Washington for Spring Break. We are supposed to leave this Friday. But now Dave can't help me drive, much less get comfortable in the van. He rode out to Eagle with me this morning, at least a 30 minute drive one way and he was hurting when we got back. So I guess we will see what is going to happen.

Well I better go get dinner going before David try's to and hurts himself worse!
