Michael's first Court of Honor!

Michael's first Court of Honor as a Boy Scout. He earned 2 patches at the camp Maple Dell the week of August 2 through the 7th in Payson, Utah. He and his dad had losts of fun. He earned his Leatherwork patch, and his Evironmental Science patch. Which is a required patch for Eagle Scout much much later on. He also earned his Scout patch, which goes on his right breast pocket. But when he earns his Tenderfoot patch I have to take it off and replace it. But luckily the scout shop makes and sells a little oval shaped plastic pouch that goes on like being buttoned. So I just have to slip the one patch out and slide the other in. Thank goodness, because it would be hard to sew a patch on and still have tghe pocket be useful! So these are pictures of Micheal getting those patches, and then pinning me with the mother's pin for him earning his Scout rank patch. The funny thing is is that I didn't have too mch to do with him earning this patch. Dave had more to do with it since he went with him to camp, and that's where he did the work.
